'The Electric State' Netflix Trailer Has Millie Bobby Brown, Adventure and Robots
The Electric State, an upcoming Netflix sci-fi adventure starring Chris Pratt, Millie Bobby Brown and sentient robots, just got its first trailer ahead of a panel presentation at New York Comic Con on Thursday.
The Russo Brothers-directed film premieres March 14, 2025 and follows Bobby Brown’s character Michelle in a retro-futuristic version of the ’90s, according to a Netflix synopsis. The preview includes Pratt’s drifter, Keats, who joins Michelle on her mission to find her brother in the American Southwest. Boot up the trailer below.
The starry cast also includes Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito and child actor Woody Norman, plus Brian Cox, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie and Jenny Slate in robot voice roles.
The Electric State is an adaptation of the 2018 illustrated novel of the same name by Simon Stålenhag. The Russo Brothers directed four Marvel Cinematic Universe films — Captain America movies The Winter Soldier and Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame — and are returning to helm two more.
